The Weasels, a social organization with a motorcycle problem, made a special visit to the Ronald McDonald House West on Saturday. The crew roared up to the house on their bikes, bearing donation boxes inside on leather-clad shoulders. We helped them warm up with cookies and coffee in the kitchen, before they hit the road again.
They’ll be back soon, as part of the 1,000-strong parade of motorcycles that drop off presents every year at Shriners Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House. This year’s ride is scheduled for December 5. Thank you Weasels!

McHappy Day is this Friday, but McDonald’s everywhere have been selling paper hands since last week to benefit Ronald McDonald House. One location in Clackamas on Highway 212 has already sold 1,200 hands, and their goal is to sell all 1,500 by this Friday. The hands cover the walls and windows at the restaurant to show support for Ronald McDonald House. You can show your support by purchasing a paper hand at a McDonald’s near you.
Find the Clackamas location online here. We want to thank the entire staff for their amazing support.
