The first major new piece of the East House Kitchen remodel was put in place late last week, as workers installed the new kitchen hood. The hood will provide a much improved ventilation and fire suppression system for the kitchen, and was one of the primary reasons for undertaking the remodel. This week the project continues with electrical work to finish installation of the hood. Painting is schedule to start on Wednesday, with cabinet installation tentatively scheduled to begin on Friday.
