Musical theater students raise money for house hero packs

September 1, 2010

Thank you to the students and supporters of Foster Studio & Performance, a musical theater school in Vancouver, who raised money at their most recent performance to shop for house hero packs for the Ronald McDonald House.

After the performance, the studio’s owner Kristi Foster and her students made an epic trip to Walmart, which required three separate trips in and out of the store, 8 shopping carts, and three hours of fun to assemble all of the house hero pack items. They put together all of the packs into individual bags, and drove them to the East House to make their donation.

Shopping for house hero packs is a fun, easy way to support the Ronald McDonald House. Each pack is made up of related, frequently used items such as toiletries, house supplies, or food. A complete list of packs is available online.
