Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon and Southwest Washington recently published our 2012 community report, summarizing the organization’s activities and performance over the previous year.
Some of the highlights of the report include:
- In 2011, our two Portland houses hosted 1,512 family visits, totaling 11,838 nights. 97% of guests said that the Ronald McDonald House made their experience easier while going through treatment. And 89% agreed that RMHC improved their child’s recovery.
- RMHC’s Outreach program reached 85% more children in 2011, helping support programs that expand access to pediatric oral health care. Through the Outreach program, RMHC awarded grants totaling $159,886 to ten community partners serving approximately 24,500 children.
- Volunteers supported RMHC with 11,824 hours, providing services valued at $260,000.
- RMHC’s revenue totaled $3,284,351 from donor, guest and partner investment, with expenses of $2,110,282.
