Once again this year, the Cure Kids Jam jointly benefited Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Cure JM Foundation, supporting research to find a cure for Juvenile Myositis. This year’s festival took place at the Hillsboro Stadium this past Sunday, with musical acts (including former American Idol contestant Blake Lewis), carnival games, community booths, and food vendors. A special thank you to event organizer Damon Smedley, and his family – who are inspired by the memory of their son Mason. We also want to thank Speaker’s Bureau volunteers Gail and Mary – who manned the booth for RMHC at the event. Mary shared photos she took at the event.
